Delivery Update (COVID 19)
COVID 19 DELIVERY DELAYS
Last updated 23rd March 2020
This page is frequently updated with information on any COVID 19 pandemic related postal delays. If your country is not listed here, then we have no particular information from the postal service which should mean delivery is carrying on as normal. We hope this page is useful, however the best way to get the most up to date details is to check directly with your postal service.
Special measures are in force in many countries, and a reduced workforce is available. Delays to mail services can be expected.
UK - new 20 March
Due to significantly higher than forecast volumes and a number of staff in self-isolation, Royal Mail has advised us that delivery delays can be expected, particularly in London. Parcel Force has suspended same day collections, so deliveries can take 1-2 days longer than usual.
A total lockdown of international air and sea transport will be implemented from 20 March 2020. All mail will be held at the international mail hub until service resumes.
Maldives Post has suspended the processing of all mail from 19th to 28th March 2020 at the minimum. This suspension may be extended.
The Latvian government has suspended all commercial flights from 17 March 2020 until further notice. Delay can be expected while delivery companies try to arrange alternative despatches, likely by road.
Due to ongoing public health measures, temporary closures now apply to the postcodes below, so packages will be held by Poste Italiane until these areas reopen:

We will continue to accept and send orders for Italy, but if we are advised to pause because of delivery problems then we will do so - we don't want anyone to not get the packages they paid for!
Japan, South Korea, Taiwan
Delays may be experienced as air connections have been severely limited.
As a result of reduced air capacity and emergency delivery procedures being taken, items sent to China are likely to experience delays to delivery.
For international mail (letters, parcels and Express Mail Service items) China Post are contacting the recipient by phone, before delivery, to agree a delivery preference. The recipient has the option for mail to be stored temporarily at the postal outlet, made available for pick-up from the outlet, or delivered to a smart parcel locker or via other non-face-to-face methods. As result of this process, delays are to be expected for inbound international mail to these areas of China.
